About the Production Learnership 2025

ArcelorMittal South Africa is excited to offer Production Learnerships designed for individuals with a passion for engineering and manufacturing. This program focuses on training aspiring professionals to become skilled Process Operators in the steel manufacturing industry.

Learnership Highlights:

Comprehensive training following a structured, outcome-based approach.

A combination of institutional learning and on-the-job training.

Regular assessments and progress monitoring throughout the program.

Opportunities available at our Vanderbijlpark Operations.

Included Benefits:

  • Coverage of training-related costs.
  • Provision of Personal Protective Equipment (PPE).
  • Payment for institutional training.
  • On-site personal insurance.
  • A monthly stipend during the program.

Note: Successful completion of the learnership does not guarantee permanent employment.


Key Responsibilities

Successfully complete all learnership requirements.

Minimum Requirements

Educational Qualifications:

  • Grade 12 Certificate with strong marks in English and Mathematics or Mathematics Literacy.
  • Physical Science is advantageous.

Personal Attributes:

A motivated team player capable of working independently.

Highly driven and self-motivated.

Agile thinker with exceptional problem-solving skills.

Attention to detail with a strong interest in engineering.
