About the Role:
Lindsay Saker Audi Bryanston is seeking a dedicated and skilled Heavy Duty Driver to join their team. This permanent position is ideal for a proactive individual who excels in driving duties and is willing to assist with additional responsibilities as needed. The successful candidate will report directly to the Sales Manager and play a key role in ensuring the smooth operation of vehicle logistics and customer service.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct thorough inspections of vehicles to identify defects, damages, and roadworthiness.
- Ensure all vehicles are securely locked, and keys are stored safely in the key box or at reception.
- Report any accidents, traffic violations, or vehicle-related issues promptly.
- Start vehicles regularly to prevent battery damage.
- Provide driver training to customers and staff during new vehicle handovers.
- Complete all necessary documentation and reports related to driver training.
- Transport vehicles between dealerships, suppliers, and customers as required.
- Assist with translation tasks when necessary.
- Perform additional reasonable duties as assigned by the department.
- Work overtime and night shifts (20h00 to 05h00) when needed.
Qualifications and Experience:
- Minimum Grade 12 education.
- Valid Code 14 (EC) driver’s license.
- Valid Professional Driving Permit (PDP).
- Driver Trainer Qualification from an OEM or similar institution is advantageous.

- Ability to work under pressure and adapt to changing schedules.
