The City of Tshwane is offering an exciting opportunity for 30 individuals to join its Vehicle Mechanics Apprenticeship Programme. Key Responsibilities
- Participation in the City of Tshwane’s full-time apprenticeship programme for vehicle mechanics.
- Attendance at theoretical and practical training sessions to develop technical skills in vehicle maintenance and repair.
- Learning to diagnose and troubleshoot mechanical issues in various types of vehicles.
- Performing routine maintenance tasks, including oil changes, brake repairs, and engine tune-ups.
- Adherence to safety protocols and maintenance of a clean and organized work environment.

- Completion of all required assessments and tasks as part of the apprenticeship programme.
Application Requirements
To be considered for this apprenticeship, candidates must meet the following criteria:
- A Technical Matric, NCV Level 4, or N2 Certificate with Mathematics, Science, and relevant trade theory.
- A genuine interest in becoming an artisan in the automotive industry.
- Strong dedication, enthusiasm, and a willingness to learn.
- Physical ability to perform tasks that may involve lifting, bending, and working with tools.
