Eskom, South Africa’s leading electricity supplier, is offering an exciting opportunity for 15 motivated individuals to join the Learner Plant Operator (Generation) program at Duvha Power Station. This learnership is designed to equip candidates with the necessary skills and knowledge to operate and maintain power generation equipment, ensuring the efficient and reliable supply of electricity to the nation.

Minimum Requirements

To be considered for this learnership, applicants must meet the following criteria:

• Educational Qualifications:
• Grade 12 with Mathematics (50%), Physical Science (50%), and English (40%); or
• N3 Certificate with Mathematics (50%), Science (50%), and English (40%); or
• NCV Level 4 with Mathematics (50%), Science (50%), and English (40%).
• Citizenship:
• Must be a South African citizen.
• Experience:
• Applicants should not have previously participated in or registered for any similar learnership program.

As a Learner Plant Operator, the successful candidates will be responsible for:

• Ensuring compliance with safety standards and operational procedures.
• Demonstrating politeness, promptness, and energy in all tasks.
• Taking initiative and being assertive in problem-solving and decision-making.
