Minimum Requirements

To qualify for this opportunity, applicants must meet the following requirements:

Age:

• Must be between 18 and 34 years old.

Citizenship:

• Applicants must be South African citizens.

Educational Qualifications:

• A minimum of a matric certificate is required.
• Additional qualifications equivalent to NQF levels 5 and 6 are also accepted.

Employment Status:

• Must have been unemployed for at least six months.
• Must have little to no prior work experience (less than 12 months total).

Program History:

• Must not have participated in the FirstJob program or been employed by any FirstRand franchise previously.

Language Skills:

• Proficiency in English is essential.

Criminal Record:

• Must not have a criminal record or be blacklisted.

Availability:

• Must not be currently enrolled in any educational institution.
• Must be willing to commit to the learnership while gaining work experience simultaneously.
