Boxer Superstores is looking to fill a variety of roles, including Receiving, Picking, Loading, Cycle Counting, Forklift Operation, Reach Truck Operation, Auditing, and Combining. Minimum Requirements
Candidates interested in these roles must meet the following requirements:
Educational Qualifications:
- A minimum of Grade 12 or National Certificate.
Experience:
- Between 0-2 years of experience in warehouse or distribution center operations.
- A valid Forklift or Reach Truck license is essential for Forklift or Reach Truck Driver roles.
Skills:
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel.
- Strong attention to detail.
- Good communication skills to collaborate effectively with team members.
- Ability to work well under pressure and meet deadlines.
- Strong teamwork capabilities.
- Basic mathematical skills for handling inventory tasks.
Availability:
- Candidates must be willing to work flexible hours, including day and night shifts, weekends (including Sundays), and public holidays.
Roles and Responsibilities
Boxer Superstores offers several roles, each with specific duties tailored to the needs of the distribution center:
- General Worker: Manage overstocked, damaged, or short-dated inventory, ensuring timely returns to the Distribution Centre.
- Picker: Accurately select and prepare stock for store delivery based on picking slips.
- Cycle Counter: Monitor and maintain accurate stock quantities within the warehouse.
- Forklift Driver: Safely load and unload trucks and efficiently move and stack pallets.
- Reach Truck Driver: Operate reach trucks and stack pallets on racks.
- Auditor: Conduct stock counts, verify expiry dates, and ensure that all goods meet dispatch standards.
- Combiner: Combine stock on pallets, ensuring it is shrink-wrapped and ready for delivery.
