This role is designed for a professional with technical expertise and a passion for maintaining and repairing passenger cars and vans to the highest dealer and distributor standards.

Role Responsibilities

The Automotive Technician will be responsible for ensuring that all vehicle repairs and maintenance meet the required quality and productivity standards. Key responsibilities include:

• Delivering technical and diagnostic services within the service department.
• Utilizing advanced diagnostic tools effectively to identify and resolve vehicle issues accurately.
• Communicating service details clearly with customers as required.
• Performing servicing and maintenance of electrical systems and vehicle components.
• Ensuring all work aligns with dealer/distributor standards and specifications.

Qualifications and Experience.

The ideal candidate should meet the following requirements:

• Educational Qualifications:
  • Grade 12 certificate with Mathematics and Physical Science.
  • N2 qualification in Engineering Science, Technical Drawing, Mathematics, and Motor Trade Theory.
• Other Requirements:
  • A valid driver’s license to support operational needs.
