Job Title: Apprentice Training Program – Grade 12’s of 2024

Description:
AFGRI is offering an exciting apprentice training program exclusively for matriculants of 2024 at our various branches in South Africa. This program provides an opportunity to grow within AFGRI under the mentorship of our leaders, with informal training and on-the-job development rotations in multidisciplinary teams.
Duration: 3 years in-service training experience towards a qualification as a Tractor Mechanic or Earthmoving Mechanic.
Requirements:
– Valid Driver’s License
– Communication Skills
– Admin Skills
– Computer Literacy
– N2 subjects: Mathematics, Engineering Science, Diesel Trade Theory, and one of Industrial Electronics, Engineering/Technical Drawing, or Motor Trade Theory.
Alternative Qualifications: Matric Certificate with relevant subjects at a minimum of 40% (E-Symbol) will also be considered.

General Information:
The apprenticeship program includes practical training, distance learning, and product training at various facilities.
Training costs are covered by AFGRI if passed, but any failed training must be redone at the applicant’s own cost.
Withdrawal during the apprenticeship period incurs costs based on the time and phase of withdrawal.
Employment equity principles will be applied in the selection process.
Applicants who have not heard from us within 30 days of the closing date may assume that their applications have been unsuccessful.
