Job Description
BMW George is seeking a dedicated and experienced Service advisor . This role requires maintaining high levels of integrity and ethical standards. The successful candidate will efficiently manage, order, and control vehicle stock to maximize sales potential. Responsibilities include handling stock and invoicing vehicles.

Specific Role Responsibilities
Responsibilities for the Vehicle Stock Controller include:
Accurate Invoicing: Invoice vehicles accurately and timely according to the offer to purchase authorized by management.
Daily Capture: Ensure the accurate and timely capture of purchase invoices daily.
Stock Management: Bring vehicles into stock and ensure they are invoiced out correctly.
Purchase Orders: Create purchase orders to suppliers for recon and fitments, ensuring that each payment has an order number.
Monthly Reporting: Conduct monthly reporting on outstanding orders.
Cost Balancing: Balance vehicle costing on the in-house system to the department manager’s cost sheet.
Documentation: Ensure required documentation is available in the deal file before invoicing.
Deviation Reporting: Report any deviations to the Financial Manager.
Stock Takes: Conduct stock takes twice a week for all vehicles, ensuring they are brought into stock correctly.
Provisions: Handle provisions on all vehicles that are in stock.
Stock List Updates: Update the stock list with retail prices.
Demo Fleet Control: Manage the Demo Fleet, including updating reports to Matrix, back-office, and conducting weekly stock takes.
Registration and Licensing: Responsible for the registration and licensing documents for the used vehicle department.
Collaboration: Work closely with Sales Executives and Sales Managers to ensure smooth operations.
Qualifications and Experience
Matric Certificate: A matric certificate is required.
Stock Controller Experience: Must have experience as a Stock Controller and in invoicing.
Drive Dealership Management System: Experience with the “Drive” dealership management system is advantageous.
Premium Brand Experience: Experience with premium brands (BMW, Mercedes, etc.) is advantageous.
Motor Trade Experience: Must currently be in the motor trade.
Skills and Personal Attributes
Computer Literacy: Must be computer literate.
Excel Experience: Proficilency in Excel is mandatory.
Multi-Tasking: Ability to multi-task effectively.
