Job Title: Traffic Officer Learnership – City of Cape Town Municipality

The City of Cape Town Municipality is looking for motivated and committed people to be a part of its Traffic Officer Learnership program. Candidates who are committed to upholding traffic laws and preserving road safety should take advantage of this fantastic opportunity. Key Responsibilities:

-Enforce traffic laws and regulations to ensure public safety

-Direct and control traffic flow during peak hours and special events

-Conduct routine patrols and inspections of designated areas

-Issue traffic infringement notices and maintain accurate records

-Provide assistance and support to road users in need

-Participate in road safety campaigns and awareness programs

-Collaborate with other law enforcement agencies when required

Requirements:

-Grade 12 qualification (Matric certificate)

-Valid code B driver’s license

-Reside permanently in Cape Town

-Good physical fitness and visual acuity

-Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

-Ability to work effectively under pressure

-Commitment to upholding law and order

-No criminal record

Duration and Remuneration:

The Traffic Officer Learnership program will last for a full year, during which time successful applicants will receive invaluable on-the-job training and hands-on experience. Learners will receive financial assistance in the form of an R5700 per month stipend while they are participating in the program.

Make sure that your application contains copies of all the necessary documents, such as a certificate proving that you completed 12th grade and a driver’s license, at the very least.
