Job Description

This learnershio, is aimed at empowering young individuals with practical experience and theoretical knowledge to boost their career prospects. Participants in this SETA-accredited program will engage in both classroom-based and hands-on training designed to provide a comprehensive learning experience.

During the program, learners will go through:

Theory Training: The program begins with 10 days of theory-only sessions that provide foundational knowledge about industry practices and workplace responsibilities.

In-store Practical Training: After the initial theory sessions, participants will undergo practical training within a retail environment. Guided by dedicated in-store mentors, participants will have the opportunity to apply what they learn in a real-world setting, building hands-on experience.

Continuous Monitoring and Verification: To ensure the program’s quality and each participant’s progress, regular assessments will be conducted. This includes mentorship check-ins and formal verification processes.

Final Assessment and Moderation: At the program’s end, participants will undergo a final assessment and moderation to evaluate their understanding and skill acquisition.

While the program does not guarantee a permanent position, it provides an excellent stepping stone and networking opportunity in the retail industry.

Eligibility Requirements
