Purpose of the Role

This learnership program is designed to empower individuals by developing foundational skills and enhancing workplace performance. Participants will gain theoretical knowledge aligned with an NQF-accredited program while engaging in practical, on-site work experience.

The program is ideal for Grade 12 graduates seeking to acquire professional skills that enhance their employability. During the learnership, participants will provide administrative support and contribute to the overall efficiency of their assigned departments.

Program Details

Theoretical Component

The theoretical component focuses on building essential business and interpersonal skills, including:

  • Entrepreneurship
  • Business Operations
  • Customer Service
  • Business Accounting
  • Mathematical Literacy
  • Communication Skills
  • Computer Skills

Practical Exposure

Participants will gain hands-on experience in various activities, such as:

  • Providing administrative and learner support.
  • Conducting research and awareness presentations.
  • Tracking client progress toward individual goals.
  • Coordinating events with service providers and site contacts.
  • Facilitating communication between employees, service providers, and the Wellbeing team.
  • Supporting strategic planning and creating annual Wellbeing roadmaps.
  • Administering employee engagement and wellbeing surveys.
  • Collaborating across departments, including IT, HR, and senior management teams.

Eligibility Requirements

Educational Qualifications:

  • Matric/Grade 12 (essential).
  • Bachelor’s degree in Psychology or related fields (advantageous).

Experience:

  • 0–1 year of relevant experience.
  • Prior experience in coaching and mentoring is beneficial.
