Position Overview:
We are seeking a dedicated Driver to join our team in Johannesburg. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in our logistics operations, ensuring the safe and efficient transportation of materials and personnel.
Minimum Requirements:
– Grade 12
– Valid driver’s license (Code 10 or Code 14)
– Proven experience as a professional driver
– Clean driving record
– Strong knowledge of traffic laws and regulations
– Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Core Functions:
– Safely operate company vehicles to transport materials and personnel to designated locations
– Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections of vehicles to ensure roadworthiness
– Adhere to all safety protocols and regulations during transportation activities
– Maintain accurate records of deliveries and vehicle maintenance
– Collaborate with logistics team members to optimize transportation routes and schedules
