Pick n Pay invites dynamic and motivated unemployed youth to join our six-month UIF-Funded Learnership program. This exciting opportunity allows participants to gain valuable experience and skills in the retail industry.
Job Description:
Participants in this SETA-accredited Learnership program will engage in a blend of theoretical and practical training aimed at developing their competencies in the retail sector. The program is structured as follows:
- Theory Training: Participants will undergo 10 days of intensive theoretical training sessions.
- Practical Training: Following the theory sessions, participants will engage in practical training within Pick n Pay stores. This hands-on experience is supported by dedicated in-store mentors who will guide and assist learners throughout their journey.
- Monitoring and Verification: Continuous monitoring and verification procedures will ensure participants’ progress and adherence to the program’s standards.
- Final Assessment: At the conclusion of the program, participants will undergo a final assessment and moderation to evaluate their acquired skills and knowledge.
Participants will receive a monthly stipend of R3,500 during the learnership period. However, it is essential to note that successful completion of the program does not guarantee subsequent job placement.
Minimum Requirements:
- Candidates must be under 29 years old.
- Must possess a Matric certificate.
