Job Purpose:
We’re seeking a heavy duty Driver at Sasol to ensure timely, accurate, and safe lubricant deliveries to our valued customers within Sasol’s retail and commercial network.
Key Responsibilities:
- Ensure the punctual and precise execution of all lubricant deliveries.
- Guarantee reliable, on-time, and complete deliveries utilizing Sasol’s fleet.
- Accurately follow loading instructions via the lubricant facs and Renaissance systems.
- Conduct thorough pre-trip inspections and promptly report any defects.
- Maintain open communication with the Logistics Command Centre in case of deviations.
- Complete shipments with precision and provide explanations for gains or losses.
- Follow the established delivery sequence.
- Minimize unproductive time.
- Identify potential operational risks, including compliance with the OHS ACT, and promptly report them to your line manager.
- Report, log, and actively participate in the Root Cause Analysis (RCA) for all incidents.
- Ensure zero spillages and contaminations during deliveries.
- Adhere strictly to site, operational, and SHERQ (Safety, Health, Environment, Risk, and Quality) procedures.
- Execute tasks safely and accurately in line with established policies and procedures.
Educational Requirements:
- Completion of Grade 12 (National Senior Certificate)
- Possession of a valid CODE EC (Code 14) driver’s license
- Hold a professional driver permit (PrDP)
Minimum Experience:
A minimum of 2 of driving experience
