Job Purpose:

We’re seeking a heavy duty Driver at Sasol to ensure timely, accurate, and safe lubricant deliveries to our valued customers within Sasol’s retail and commercial network.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Ensure the punctual and precise execution of all lubricant deliveries.
2. Guarantee reliable, on-time, and complete deliveries utilizing Sasol’s fleet.
3. Accurately follow loading instructions via the lubricant facs and Renaissance systems.
4. Conduct thorough pre-trip inspections and promptly report any defects.
5. Maintain open communication with the Logistics Command Centre in case of deviations.
6. Complete shipments with precision and provide explanations for gains or losses.
7. Follow the established delivery sequence.
8. Minimize unproductive time.
9. Identify potential operational risks, including compliance with the OHS ACT, and promptly report them to your line manager.
10. Report, log, and actively participate in the Root Cause Analysis (RCA) for all incidents.
11. Ensure zero spillages and contaminations during deliveries.
12. Adhere strictly to site, operational, and SHERQ (Safety, Health, Environment, Risk, and Quality) procedures.
13. Execute tasks safely and accurately in line with established policies and procedures.

Educational Requirements:

• Completion of Grade 12 (National Senior Certificate)
• Possession of a valid CODE EC (Code 14) driver’s license
• Hold a professional driver permit (PrDP)

Minimum Experience:

A minimum of 2 of driving experience
