Reporting To: Risk and Security Manager

Responsibilities:

SHE Management:

  • Implement and maintain the SHE management system within the business unit.
  • Ensure SHE files are current and accurate.
  • Manage SHE appointments as per the appointment plan.
  • Identify, report, and mitigate SHE risks.
  • Update emergency response and evacuation plans.
  • Coordinate evacuation drills.
  • Manage hazardous and dangerous goods.
  • Ensure facility permits and certificates of compliance are current.
  • Coordinate the monitoring and measuring plan.
  • Conduct monthly SHE inspections.
  • Lead weekly and monthly toolbox talks.
  • Coordinate training per requirements.
  • Prepare for and assist with internal and external SHE audits.
  • Schedule and coordinate SHE surveys.
  • Report and record SHE non-conformances.
  • Follow up on injuries on duty.
  • Report monthly on business unit SHE compliance.

Blue Area Management:

  • Implement and maintain the blue area SOP.
  • Ensure blue area layouts conform to the SOP.
  • Oversee blue area meetings.
  • Update SHE and 5S templates weekly.
  • Display Wellness, 5S, and SHE information for the blue area.

5S Management:

  • Implement and maintain the 5S SOP.
  • Keep 5S files current and accurate.
  • Assist with creating and implementing 5S standards.
  • Coordinate the business unit 5S zone layout.
  • Maintain the business unit 5S standards and register.
  • Coordinate 5S audits per the audit plan.
  • Conduct 5S training initiatives.
  • Report and assist with closing 5S non-conformities.
  • Maintain red-tag areas.
  • Compile and report on 5S dashboards as per the SOP.
