Minimum Requirements:
To qualify for this role, candidates must meet the following requirements:
- Education: Matric Certificate (Attach certified copy).
- Identification: Valid South African ID (Attach a copy).
- Driver’s License: A valid and certified driver’s license is mandatory.
- Experience:
- 2–3 years of retail experience (advantageous).
- 1–3 years as a departmental manager (advantageous).
- Must successfully complete at least two competency-based interviews.
- Willingness to work in and transfer between stores as needed.
- Authorization for a full credit and criminal background check.
- Residency in the Western Cape is essential.

Core Responsibilities:
1. Operations Management:
- Maintain high standards of hygiene, housekeeping, and safety across all store areas, including the floor and back-up areas.
- Ensure compliance with security procedures to safeguard store assets.
- Oversee merchandise and display standards, ensuring quality and consistency.
- Conduct regular quality checks, rotate stock appropriately, and remove expired or damaged items.
- Minimize wastage, shrinkage, and damages.
- Ensure pricing accuracy through correct labeling and updates.
2. Administrative Duties:
- Complete all required administrative tasks accurately and on time.
- Analyze, maintain, and update relevant documentation, ensuring necessary actions are taken promptly.
3. Sales and Customer Service:
- Plan and implement sales promotions to drive revenue growth.
- Interact with customers to understand their needs, provide product recommendations, and deliver excellent service.
4. Financial and Inventory Management:
- Monitor and manage departmental budgets effectively, taking corrective actions as needed.
- Analyze profitability and suggest improvements for enhanced performance.
- Optimize stock levels through effective ordering, ensuring availability without overstocking.
5. Team Management:
- Supervise and motivate employees to maintain high operational standards.
- Provide training and support to ensure team members perform their duties competently.
