Job Description
Anglo American is seeking a Time & Attendance Administrator within the People & Organisation (P&O) department. The role reports to the Time & Attendance Analyst and focuses on effective administration of attendance systems and compliance with company procedures. This position plays a critical role in supporting payroll and HR operations within the mining industry.
Minimum Requirements
- Grade 12 (Matric).
- Payroll / HR / related certificate (advantageous).
- Valid SA Driver’s Licence: Code B (Light vehicle).
- 2–3 years’ relevant experience in time and attendance administration, preferably within the mining sector.
- Knowledge of SAP systems (essential).
- Strong computer skills, including proficiency in MS Excel and working knowledge of Word, PowerPoint, and Outlook.
- Understanding of Anglo American policies, reward procedures, and HR processes.
Core Functions
- Maintain accurate records of employee attendance and working hours.
- Ensure compliance with company timekeeping policies and procedures.
- Support payroll processes through timely submission and verification of attendance data.
- Provide reports and insights on attendance trends and discrepancies.
- Collaborate with HR and line management to resolve queries and discrepancies.
- Assist in system-related improvements and training as required.
