Job Description:
CCBSA is offering an exciting opportunity for motivated individuals to join our Production Department through a Manufacturing Learnership Programme. This learnership is designed to provide qualifying candidates with the skills and knowledge required to excel in the food and beverage packaging industry.
The programme will lead to a National Certificate in Food and Beverage Packaging, NQF Level 3, and is aimed at equipping learners with the competencies needed to thrive in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.
Key Purpose:
The purpose of this learnership is to:
- Provide learners with a nationally recognized qualification in food and beverage packaging.
- Develop skills that are essential for success in the beverage manufacturing and FMCG sectors.
- Enhance employability and career mobility within the industry.
Key Duties & Responsibilities:
- Participate in theoretical and practical training as part of the NQF Level 3 Learnership Programme.
- Gain hands-on experience in the production and packaging processes within a manufacturing environment.
- Demonstrate competencies such as self-motivation, attention to detail, and effective teamwork.
- Adhere to safety and quality standards in the workplace.
Skills, Experience & Education:
To be considered for this learnership, applicants must meet the following requirements:
- Citizenship: Must be a South African citizen.
- Education: Grade 12 with Mathematics (minimum 40%) and Physical Science (minimum 50%).
- Employment Equity: Must be an Employment Equity candidate.
- Previous Qualifications: Must not have previously completed the same qualification/learnership at another company or organization.
- Employment Status: Must have been unemployed at the time of appointment.
- Additional Qualifications: N5/N6 qualifications will be advantageous.
- Age: Must be between 18 and 35 years old.
