Job Description
Coca-Cola Beverages South Africa (CCBSA) is currently offering exciting opportunities within our Warehouse department. We are seeking skilled and dedicated individuals for the position of Temp Warehouse Operator, based in multiple locations across Gauteng and Free State, including Wadeville, Midrand, Devland, and Bloemfontein. This is a temporary position that plays a critical role in ensuring the efficient and smooth operation of our warehouse facilities.
As a Temp Warehouse Operator, you will be responsible for executing various warehouse activities in alignment with the operational plan. Your primary objective will be to maintain the highest standards of operational efficiency while ensuring that all tasks are completed on time and in full.
Key Duties & Responsibilities
Efficient Loading and Unloading: You will be responsible for ensuring that all trucks and trailers are loaded on time and according to the issued plan. This includes following model stock layouts for all SKUs to optimize storage and transport efficiency.
Support Production Lines: You will remove stock from the production lines efficiently to prevent any disruptions due to forklift unavailability. This requires quick and accurate load picking to meet production demands.
Adherence to Standards: Maintaining compliance with housekeeping standards and operational processes is essential. You will also be expected to meet personal operational efficiency standards consistently.
Asset Care: As part of your duties, you will be required to care for warehouse assets according to standard operational practices, ensuring their longevity and functionality.
Stock Management: You will participate in daily inventory counting and ensure that all pallets are stretch-wrapped according to the company’s standards.
Skills, Experience & Education
Educational Requirements: A Grade 12/Matric certificate with Mathematics is required for this role.
Language Proficiency: You must be conversant in English, either as your home language or as a first additional language.
Experience: You should have between 6 to 12 months of relevant warehouse experience, particularly in load making or forklift operation. Having a valid forklift driver’s license will be an added advantage.
Background Check: A clear criminal and credit check is required for this position.
Work Conditions: You should be prepared to work overtime and shifts as necessary to meet operational demands.
