Job Description
The Sales Associate will play a key role in creating a welcoming shopping environment by offering personalised service, showcasing Foschini’s latest trends, and ensuring the store remains fully replenished and visually appealing. The ideal candidate is confident, self-motivated, and driven by performance and customer satisfaction.
Key Responsibilities
- Represent the Foschini brand by delivering professional, friendly, and engaging customer service.
- Understand customer needs and recommend the best possible solutions.
- Monitor daily sales targets and actively work towards achieving and exceeding them.
- Stay updated on new fashion trends, styles, décor items, and product categories.
- Identify opportunities to drive new sales and grow customer loyalty.
- Assist with stock replenishment, ensuring the store is neat and ready for customers at all times.
- Support the team in maintaining high visual standards and compliance with store operations.
Minimum Requirements
- Grade 12 / Matric.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
- Ability to multi-task and work efficiently in a fast-paced store environment.
- Able to work independently and use initiative when required.
- High attention to detail and strong organisational ability.
- Customer-focused mindset with a passion for people.
- Target-driven attitude with proven resilience and motivation.
- Competencies include customer service delivery, navigating challenges, selling skills, decision-making, and planning.
