About the Program
The Yes4Youth (Y4Y) Program is a 12-month fixed-term contract aimed at unemployed youth aged 18 to 34. It provides meaningful workplace exposure, practical skills development, and an opportunity to contribute to a dynamic organization. The program focuses on preparing participants for future employment by immersing them in a professional environment where they can grow and thrive.
Participants will be placed at one of the following BMW Group locations in Gauteng:
Midrand Campus, Johannesburg – The heart of innovation and strategic operations.
Plant Rosslyn, Pretoria – A state-of-the-art facility renowned for automotive excellence.
Menlyn BMW IT Hub, Pretoria – A cutting-edge technology hub driving the future of mobility.
The program will run from 1 April 2025 to 31 March 2026, providing participants with a comprehensive learning experience designed to unlock their potential.
Qualifications and Fields of Study
To qualify for this program, applicants must hold a University Degree or National Diploma in one of the following fields:
Business and Management:
Business Administration, Risk Management, Insurance, Marketing, Public Relations.
Human Resources:
Industrial Psychology, Human Resource Management.
Law and Political Sciences:
LLB/Law, Political Sciences.Technology:
Technology:
Information Technology (JAVA training, Information Systems degree, SAP, ABAP certification, K1 experience level, Computer Programming, Coding).
Graphic Design with UX specialization.
Computer Science, Analytics/Business Analytics.
Finance and Economics:
Accounting, Economics, Internal Auditing, Taxation.
Engineering:
Mechanical, Industrial, Electrical, Chemical Engineering.
Logistics and Supply Chain Management:
Supply Chain/Logistics.
Media and Communications:
Journalism, Communications.
Education:
Early Learning Centre qualifications or Diploma in Teaching.
