Job Posting: Parts Trainee

About Us:
We are currently seeking qualified and motivated individuals to join our team as Parts Trainees. This opportunity is open to both internal permanent team members and external applicants. Duties:
As a Parts Trainee, you will be responsible for various tasks, including but not limited to:
-Accurate picking of parts based on parts picking lists.
-Recording picked parts against relevant customer accounts.
-Packing parts with required documentation for collections and dispatch.
-Accurate binning of parts and maintaining bin locations.
-Assisting with stock processing, generating reports, and conducting daily cycle counts.
-Supporting receiving, dispatch, deliveries, and collections of parts as needed.
-Ensuring compliance with Part and SHEQ rules, policies, and procedures.
-Assisting with parts counter sales.
-Availability for weekend work and additional hours as required.
-Maintaining general housekeeping.
Requirements:
To be successful in this role, you should possess:
-Grade 12 or equivalent (Abet Level 4).
-Good verbal and written communication skills.
-Initiative, resourcefulness, and self-motivation.
-Goal-driven attitude with the ability to work in a pressurized environment.
-Presentable, punctual, and respectful demeanor.
-Ability to follow confidential policies and procedures.
-Valid code 8 driver’s license.
-Basic computer literacy (an added advantage).
-Previous experience in a parts environment (an advantage).
-Willingness to relocate upon completion of training if required.
