We are seeking motivated individuals who are eager to learn, grow, and develop their skills within the mining industry. As an apprentice at AIEC, you will receive comprehensive training and support to kickstart your career in this dynamic field.

Job Description:

• Train and gain knowledge and skills in the designated trade(s).
• Participate in the formal training plan for the apprenticeship and make reasonable progress to achieve the competencies in the training plan.
• Comply with the SETA requirements (Unit Standards) for the successful completion of the Apprenticeship program.
• Adhere to Health, Safety, and Environmental procedures, work instructions, guidelines, regulations/legislation, and programs.
• Be medically fit to work in a chemical environment, including working at heights and in confined spaces.

Qualifications & Experience:

• Mechanical Matric with Mathematics and Physical Science.
• N3 Certificate with English, Engineering Science, Maths, and N3 Trade Theory
• inimum of 2 years’ experience in chemical plant operations.
• Experience in Industrial Manufacturing Processes.
• Knowledge of plant operating control systems (DCS/SCADA).
• Computer literate.
