Our plan for learners

The Miway Learnership Programme is an entry-level transformation programme that aims to create a steady stream of talented individuals who will help businesses reach their goals by filling the skills gap in the financial services industry.

Learners who get a qualification and pass the FSCA regulatory tests RE5 will be able to apply for professional membership of the Insurance Institute of South Africa (IISA) as an IISA Member (MIISA).

The learnership combines structured work experience with structured learning with an approved training source. It also includes hands-on learning.

What You Need

• Applicants must have a Grade 12 certificate that includes anything from the following:
• You must get at least a 50% grade in English and a second language.
• You must get at least a 40% grade in math or a 60% grade in math literacy to pass.
• A citizen of South Africa
• Not working
• 18 to 35 years old
• People who want to apply must not have worked more than one year.

*People with disabilities must show a note from their doctor proving the type of disability.

• People who want to apply must not be enrolled in any other school during the Learnership.
• People who want to apply must not have been on an INSETA short-term insurance learnership.
