Minimum Requirements

For both the Mechatronics Technician and Transportation Electrician apprenticeships, candidates must meet the following requirements:

• Academic Qualifications:
• Matric certificate with a minimum of 50% in Mathematics (not Math Literacy) and Physical Science, OR
• NQF Level 4/N3 in Engineering Studies with at least 50% in Mathematics and Engineering Science.
• N2 in Engineering studies with relevant trade theory is advantageous for both trades.
• Driver’s License: Valid driver’s license required.
• Documentation: All applicants must submit a completed application along with supporting documents, including their ID, Matric Certificate or N3 Qualification, and CV.
