Job Description:
The Government Driver/Messenger: Circuit will be responsible for ensuring the safe and efficient transportation of personnel and documents within the Circuit office. The role involves delivering documents and other items to various offices and institutions, ensuring timely and secure delivery. Additionally, the Driver/Messenger will assist with general office duties such as document duplication and other support services. This role requires excellent driving skills, problem-solving abilities, and strong communication skills to effectively interact with colleagues and other stakeholders.
Salary: R 15,273.25 per month
Requirements:
- Grade 10 certificate
- Valid Code 08 driver’s license
- Good driving skills
- Proven experience and ability as a driver/messenger
- Good interpersonal and communication skills, including proficiency in English
- Ability to solve problems related to standard procedures
Duties:
- Provide safe transport services within the Circuit office
- Serve as a courier of documentation and other items between the Circuit office and other offices/institutions
- Assist the office with duplication and office support services
