Purpose of the Job:

As an Operator at Engen Limited, you will be responsible for performing operational activities using plant equipment and resources related to the blending or filling process at LOBP. Your role will involve adhering to company policies, procedures, and applicable standard operating procedures.

What You’ll Have Done Before:

Baseline:

• NQF Level 4 (Grade 12/N3 Engineering Certificate)
• 1-year Experience in a Manufacturing Environment

Advantageous:

• Grade 12 (Mathematics & Science)
• Forklift License
• 2 Years’ experience in blending and filling operations
• Computer Literacy
• Ability to perform basic equipment care

What You’ll Be Doing:

Ensuring daily production operational blending and filling activities are executed effectively as per the daily Production Plans and allocated resources by Team Leader.

Achieving daily throughput rates by operating resources optimally.

Conducting general housekeeping, first-line maintenance, and machine adjustment tasks.

Performing manual labeling, palletizing, and driving forklifts.

Gauging and dipping tanks at required intervals.

Accurately completing records and required documentation related to your work area.

Following correct sampling methodology and frequency for all sampling activities.

Communicating, interpreting, and adhering to Engen’s HSEQ Policies and ZeTo Rules for individual and collective safety.

Identifying and reporting unsafe work operations, incidents, and near misses.

Participating in root cause analysis discussions for your respective area.

Safeguarding business operations and ensuring Engen’s Compliance to Industrial Requirements.

Following correct procedures for your designated areas.
