Rand Water is seeking a reliable and experienced Driver to join the Bulk Water Services Operations team. The successful candidate will be responsible for performing a variety of driving tasks, including the delivery and collection of parts, equipment, goods, and documents. This role requires a dedicated individual who can ensure timely and efficient transport services, contributing to the smooth operation of the organization’s logistics and supply chain.

Minimum Requirements

Education: Grade 12 (Matric).

Licenses: Valid C1 Driver’s License.

Experience: Minimum of five (5) years of relevant driving experience.

Skills: Advanced driving capabilities are essential.

Primary Duties

Driving Responsibilities: Execute general driving duties with professionalism and efficiency.

Delivery & Collection: Transport parts, equipment, goods, and documents to various locations as needed.

Equipment Handling: Ensure safe and proper handling of all items during transportation.

Knowledge

Licensing: Must possess a valid and relevant Driver’s License.

SHEQ Standards: Basic knowledge of Safety, Health, Environment, and Quality (SHEQ) standards.

Regulatory Awareness: Familiarity with the National Road Traffic Act and the Administrative Adjudication of Road Traffic Offences (AARTO) Act.

Skills

Advanced Driving: Proficiency in advanced driving techniques.

Safety: Skills in hijack prevention and defensive driving are desirable.

Customer Service: Strong orientation towards providing excellent customer service.

Attention to Detail: High levels of attention to quality and detail in all tasks.

Time Management: Ability to meet deadlines and manage time effectively.

Housekeeping: Commitment to maintaining cleanliness and orderliness in the work environment.
