1. Administration Clerks
Salary: R216 417 per annum (Level 05)
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide administrative support by maintaining office records, managing logistical matters, and handling leave registers.
- Screen incoming calls and forward to the Deputy National Commissioner’s office.
- Type reports, letters, and other documents, ensuring proper record-keeping.
- Liaise with various components within SAPS regarding office matters.
- Maintain good record-keeping and filing systems.
Requirements:
- Senior Certificate (Grade 12) or National Certificate (Vocational) at NQF level 4.
- Fluent in at least two official languages, one of which must be English.
- Proficiency in basic administrative functions.
- Willingness to work under pressure and extended hours.
- A degree or diploma relevant to the field is an added advantage.
2. Cleaners
Salary: R138 486 per annum (Level 02)
Key Responsibilities:
- Maintain a high standard of cleanliness and hygiene in offices, corridors, kitchens, bathrooms, and surrounding areas.
- Perform routine cleaning duties including sweeping, mopping, dusting, polishing, and vacuuming.
- Remove refuse and ensure waste is disposed of correctly.
- Clean office furniture, windows, equipment, and work surfaces.
- Safely handle and store cleaning materials and equipment.
- Assist with basic garden maintenance where required.
- Clean kitchenware, utensils, and state vehicles when necessary.
- Load and unload cleaning supplies and other goods as required.
Requirements:
- Basic literacy and numeracy skills.
- Ability to read and write.
- Grade 10 qualification will serve as an advantage.
- Good communication skills.
- Willingness to work extended hours when required.
- South African citizen.
- No previous criminal convictions or pending cases.
- Applicants will be subjected to a vetting and security screening process.
3. Secretaries
Salary: R228 321 per annum (Level 05)
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide full secretarial and administrative support to senior management.
- Manage diaries, appointments, meetings, and travel arrangements.
- Type, format, and proofread correspondence, reports, submissions, and minutes.
- Handle incoming and outgoing calls, emails, and official correspondence.
- Maintain effective filing systems (manual and electronic).
- Receive and attend to visitors in a professional manner.
- Coordinate meetings, prepare agendas, and record minutes.
- Ensure confidentiality and proper handling of sensitive information.
- Maintain office records and ensure proper document control.
Requirements:
- Senior Certificate (Grade 12) or National Certificate (Vocational) at NQF Level 4.
- Proficiency in at least two official languages, one of which must be English.
- Computer literacy, including Microsoft Office applications.
- Strong organisational, communication, and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.
- South African citizen.
- No previous criminal convictions or pending cases.
- Successful candidates will undergo vetting and security screening.
4. Security Officers
Salary: R128 166 per annum (Level 03)
Key Responsibilities:
- Ensure the security of the office premises, control access points, and conduct patrols.
- Monitor CCTV and assist in investigating security incidents.
- Report any security breaches or suspicious activities to the relevant authorities.
Requirements:
- A Grade 10 qualification or equivalent.
- PSIRA Grade C certification is required.
- Experience in a security environment will be advantageous.
